The Car Industry Bail-Out...I don't think so..

It really irks my butt to see the head muckety-mucks of the car industry sitting in front of Congress whining like a pack of babies. If you ask me (and no one did), when you own a company and run it into the ground with poor management and an inferior product, don't come crying to taxpayers to pull your ass out of the sling. That's not what government funds are about; hell, I don't know even know why Congress is having those hearings. This is a bigger joke than when all those multimillionaire baseball players testified concerning their own use of steroids. What in thunderation does the Federal government have to do with that?? Baseball should regulate baseball, not the Fed.

Yeh, I know, I know...all those good folks will lose their jobs if the auto industry goes tits up. I truly hate that for those people. No one wants that kind of sword dangling over their heads. But enough is enough.

Let the auto industry file bankruptcy and reorganize. Rehire laid-off works as they are able, and for heaven's sake fire the Board of Directors that allowed atrocious bonuses and perks to be distributed with no thought of what the future may hold. Some folks in this country need to have a message sent to them. Unfortunately that hard-working man/woman will have to hear the message too; but the American people cannot afford to continue to bail-out company after company because of poor management. There ain't a damned thing about this situation that's fair. Not a damned thing.
